I've simplified my pricing.
Pre-designed covers are regularly $35 (which
includes artwork). Once you pick out a cover and send the payment via PayPal
I'll finalize the cover with your title, name, and tagline and any minor changes
you need and deliver the cover within 24 hours.
Custom
designs run from $65 to $100
(which includes artwork). I offer a discount if you're having more than
one
cover designed at the same time. Specialized artwork that is more than
the built-in allowance will be by quote and in addition to the regular
price. A series template is $100 with each additional cover using the
template at a reduced price depending on complexity of changes. A wraparound cover for POD will be an additional $25. A cover for an audio book is an additional $15. Promotional materials such as bookmarks, banners, and ads are by quote per project.
At the time you contract for a
custom cover, I request $25 as a downpayment, which is not refundable. Then I'll
mock up at least 3-5 quick covers from your specifications, after which you
choose a direction you want to go in. I'll make a rough of the cover and email
it to you, at which time you can request changes in color, layout, font,
etcetera. We can go back and forth via email until the cover is exactly what you
want. When you're satisfied with the cover, I'll purchase the graphics and build
the final cover. Upon payment of the balance, you recieve a JPEG ready to upload
to any publishing platform and, if desired, a layered, editable .PSD file. I
will also keep a .PSD file on file if you want any tweaks such as a font
change in the future. Tweaks are free of charge, but do NOT include redoing the
cover.
